Spiritual Life

Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve believes that a person's spiritual life is at the center of who we are as human beings. We therefore seek to address the spiritual needs of all residents, whatever a resident's religious orientation may be. Chaplains meet with residents individually as well as in small groups, and worship services and religious programs are open to everyone. Regularly scheduled activities include

  • Sunday and Wednesday church services
  • Sunday Catholic Mass
  • Thursday Bible Study
  • Tuesday Rosary group
  • Weekly neighborhood devotions.

Special services are conducted during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Holy Week, and three times a year a Catholic mass is offered that includes the anointing of the sick. All religious activities are announced on the Life Enrichment calendar.

The Spiritual Life Team of Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve includes a full-time Lutheran Pastor, a half-time Catholic Sister, a Catholic Priest for Sunday Mass, and many volunteers who assist with services and visitation.
