"Friends" Annual Support Campaign
Each year Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve conducts the “Friends” Annual Support Campaign. Funds generated in this tax deductible contribution effort support the cost of care for residents.
Many residents have exhausted their capacity to pay the full cost of care provided by Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve. This is the difference between the resident’s sources of revenue combined with subsidy from the State of Ohio and what it actually costs to provide our comprehensive services and programs of life enrichment.
We are challenged each year to generate gifts and investment revenue in the amount of $400,000 to cover the gap between what approximately 60% of our residents contribute and what it actually costs.

Thrivent Choice
Sign up for the Thrivent Choice Information Update, a monthly email newsletter about this exciting new program. Launching in spring 2010, Thrivent ChoiceSM is a new giving program that lets members help choose where Thrivent Financial gives back. Choice Dollars (SM) – Approximately 30% of benefit members will be able to direct Thrivent Choice Dollars to thousands of Lutheran nonprofit organizations, including Lutheran congregations. (Approximately 75% of past participants in the GivingPlus® program will be eligible to direct Choice Dollars.) Eligibility for Choice Dollars is based on a benefit member's insurance premiums, account values and volunteer leadership. Most eligible benefit members will be able to direct between $25 and $100, and some may be able to direct as much as $500. |
